About Telehealth Services by Bart Gibson

Bart Gibson

After serving on active duty in the United States Army, I became a social worker. I began my career serving children, adolescents, parents, and families in their home, school, and community settings. As my career progressed, I started to understand the incredible impact that traumatic experiences have in our lives. It’s remarkable how much power we have to heal ourselves from within if we take the time to attend to ourselves and our history. ADHD, anxiety, and depression are all symptomatic of, and influenced by, the experiences we’ve had. Building resilience is essential, as it shapes how we cope, make decisions, and experience emotional wellness, all of which are developed by our life experiences. How we react to our experiences and feelings can change over time. Emotional wellness is the ability to handle life's stresses and adapt to change. Healthy coping mechanisms can help improve mental health. If you’re looking to explore this further, feel free to contact us.

Why Telehealth

Telehealth offers greater convenience, especially for those with busy schedules, limited transportation, or who live in remote areas. By utilizing telehealth, patients can connect with healthcare providers from the comfort of their home, saving time and reducing travel-related stress. This method is also a faster way to access care, often resulting in shorter wait times for appointments. For managing chronic conditions, routine check-ins, or mental health therapy, telehealth can be just as effective as in-person visits. Furthermore, it provides a safer option for individuals looking to avoid exposure to contagious illnesses in medical settings. As part of building resilience in healthcare, telehealth serves as a flexible and accessible alternative that meets the needs of many patients. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact us.
